Wimbledon - the quintessentially British event that is as renowned for it’s stylish attendees as it is for it’s world class tennis. Every year, the well-heeled elite flock to centre court in their finest summer time smart-casuals. Here, we bring you some of the best dressed gentlemen to attend the tournament so far.
A regular in the Royal Box, David Beckham has certainly earned his stripes as one of Wimbledon’s best dressed men. Taking to centre court on day five, Beckham opted for a somewhat relaxed take on the smart-casual dress code, pairing a navy Ralph Lauren blazer with a pinstripe shirt and chinos. As always, he showed his sartorial flair in the outfit’s details - check out the peaked lapels of his blazer. Image courtesy of www.etonline.com
Former England Rugby captain Chris Robshaw looked dapper in a light stone blazer (which is this season’s hottest colour, by the way). Paired with dark navy trousers and a pastel shirt, he has created a great summer outfit. The attention to detail is outstanding in this outfit - the complementary textures of linen, poplin and silk give a crisp look, and the pocket handkerchief adds a suave finishing touch. We aren’t too sure about those glasses, though… Image courtesy of www.telegraph.co.uk
We loved the classic tailoring of Dominic Cooper’s outfit. An eternal fan of the slim fit suit, Dominic opted for navy linen and crisp white on day one of the tournament, with a khaki tie adding a pop of colour. He gets bonus points for the choice of fabric - the lightweight linen will have helped him keep his cool in the glorious sunshine. Image courtesy of http://etcanada.com
